Instead of Cuts and Delays...

Instead of failing to partner with the federal government, resulting in Manitoba missing out on federal dollars...

WE WILL strengthen our economy by investing in infrastructure and innovation, work cooperatively with all other levels of government (including Indigenous governments) and help small businesses access capital by establishing a Manitoba Business Development Bank.

Instead of delaying, flip-flopping and cutting most of a climate change plan...

WE WILL facilitate the transition from a fossil fuel to an electricity based economy, where we have an advantage because of our hydroelectric power. This will prepare Manitoba for the future and help save our planet.

Instead of underfunding education, reducing student support and eliminating all Manitoba school boards...

WE WILL preserve local input and community based decision making to encourage innovation, excellence and community connections, and ensure our schools address inclusion, diversity and adequate help for those with learning difficulties.

Instead of closing high functioning operations like Misericordia Urgent Care which had an exceptional health care team achieving high levels of patient satisfaction...

WE WILL enhance community input into decisions, ensure vacant positions are filled, stabilize health care, improve morale and build on centres of excellence like CancerCare Manitoba as part of a better health care system which puts patients first.

Instead of a slow, sporadic approach to preventative health...

WE WILL implement effective province-wide efforts to prevent conditions like diabetes and reduce poverty to keep people healthier and save on health care costs so that dollars can be applied to areas where improvements are needed.

Instead of delays and inaction in addressing mental health and addictions...

WE WILL act urgently to improve access to detox and treatment services and to improve access to psychological therapies and peer support. Our goal is to keep our society healthier. This is also one part of a more comprehensive plan to reduce crime.

...We Will Act
